This organization for all AVID students at Steinbrenner.  Its purpose is to assist members in achieving their academic and personal goals by arranging visits to colleges and universities, hosting guest speakers from the business and academic communities, and promoting scholarship and volunteerism among AVID club members.

This club is part of the American Junior Classical league.  It is open to students who have completed 3 semesters of Latin and meet grade point requirements.

Legacy Club is a non-denominational Christian organization that works to encourage integrity, leadership, character and outreach among students.  Meetings can include music, community speakers, student testimonies, drama presentations and fellowship opportunities.

NHS is limited to sophomores, juniors and seniors who have a 3.5 GPA or higher.  There is an application process along with teacher recommendations and administrative review.  The club's focus is improving academic progress of all students at Steinbrenner and surrounding feeder schools through tutoring and as leaders in our community.  Academics and service to others is stressed to all who join.

Optimist
Optimist is a co-ed service club that provides services to those in need within the school community at large.  Members learn the values of generosity and compassion and raise awareness of issues that affect people in their community and the world at large and aims to to make a positive impression on the community.

Peacemakers 
The purpose of this club is to promote the Peer Mediation program and help establish a safe, caring and orderly learning environment.  All Peacemaker members will be trained to become a Peer Mediator.
