Welcome parents and students!
I am excited to start another school year. I look forward to assisting young people discover careers and helping to prepare students for their futures! That is the BEST part of my job!
The Academy of Information Technology is a new program and we are 1 of only 2 schools that offer this!  It consists of several courses - Intro to IT, Web/Digital Media, Networking and Programming courses along with other computer electives. This program will help fine tune your students' interests in their future college and career goals.
Students:

In Web/Digital Media and Web Design, students learn the basics of creating web sites using Adobe CS4 Software, such as Dreamweaver, for page development, Flash for animation and Photoshop for image editing. Advanced students create and maintain websites for community businesses as well as learn advanced techniques in design. All students will have the opportunity to take valuable industry ceritifcation exams FREE of charge!
In any and all of my classes - students will learn about current trends in the workplace, various paths to careers and about the many choices for furthering their education.
Community members, businesses and educational facilities are often asked to become our classroom partner.  Students are exposed to the business environment and can even make contacts for further learning. Often these experiences can make a lasting impact.
Parents, please contact me anytime regarding your student's progress!
